DEKALB COUNTY, Mo.- A Chicago driver was allegedly involved in a vehicle pursuit with authorities in DeKalb County early this morning.
Online arrest report from the Missouri Highway Patrol indicated Kevin Phyfiher, 26, of Chicago, Il., was arrested at 6:22 a.m., on charges of felony first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, felony resisting arrest by fleeing, and two other traffic violations.
Reports also indicate the suspected vehicle reached speeds of 100 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Phyfiher was transported by the Missouri Highway Patrol to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail awaiting the filing of formal charges.
