RAY COUNTY, Mo. — A traffic stop by Richmond police early Sunday morning ended in two people detained on felony allegations.
Around 1:16 a.m., an officer stopped Jeffrey Wayne Johnson, 47, of Henrietta in the 400 block of East Main Street.
Johnson was taken into custody for alleged felony possession of methamphetamine, felony unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Further investigation led to the arrest of Kimberly Dawn James, 27, also of Richmond. James is charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Each is currently held at the Ray County Jail.
