MONROE COUNTY, MO – The car that was driven into the Kansas River, killing one occupant, was reportedly stolen from Monroe County in Missouri.
The Monroe County Sheriff says the stolen car, later driven by Scharron Dingledine, came from a rural residence near Madison. She is charged with first degree murder in the ensuing death of her 5-year-old daughter. The victim’s father claims Dingledine had just been released after a review at a mental institution before the incident occurred.
