LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. – A St. Joseph man waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday morning, and is now bound over to the Lafayette County Circuit Court.
Joseph Eric Romero, 29, was stopped by Odessa Police on June 21st for allegedly driving in an erratic manner. The vehicle plates checked to another vehicle, Romero’s drivers license was suspended. A child was found asleep but unrestrained in the back seat of the vehicle. A search pursuant to arrest revealed burglary tools, drugs and paraphernalia.
Romero will be arraigned on charges of possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs, possession of paraphernalia and driving while suspended.
