CLARKSBURG, MO – Law enforcement in Moniteau County conducted a drug arrest Wednesday after receiving reports of drug activity, according to a press release.
According to Sheriff, Tony Wheatley, cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized at a residence in Clarksburg. Initially, the suspect, Daniel Contreras, refused a search of the residence. After an application for a search warrant was approved, the drugs were seized, and Contreras taken into custody. He was taken to Moniteau County Jail in lieu of $33 thousand, which includes an existing warrant for non-support.
Formal charges are pending.
