MACON COUNTY, MO – A Queen City man who was on trial for manslaughter was to take part in a four day jury trial, ending Friday.

Court records indicate proceedings were declared a mistrial after it began Tuesday. A fatal crash in Schuyler County that killed three teens November 2016, and severely injured a fourth involved a pickup truck driven by Bradley Turner, 29, that crashed, ejecting several occupants.  The accident resulted in the deaths of Laticia Potter, 18, of Queen City, Jason Sanning, 16, of Kirksville and Alexis Shaw, 15, of Milan.  Two other teens and Turner were injured during the crash.  Turner pleaded not guilty to first degree manslaughter charges.

After the mistrial, proceedings have been rescheduled for October 29 this year, with a preliminary hearing October 11. The case has also been moved to Shelby County.
