BATES COUNTY, Mo. – A Lee’s Summit man faces a drug allegation after being arrested during a traffic stop in Bates County Friday afternoon.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol arrest report, Jimmy D. Grainger, 48, was stopped for failure to resister a motor vehicle around 4:00 p.m., yesterday. Grainger was then arrested on two misdemeanor warrants out of Raymore. After a search pursuant to arrest, Grainger is now accused of felony possession of a controlled substance.
Grainger was awaiting bond at the Bates County Jail.
