MACON, MO – A warrant was issued Thursday for a Macon man involved in a motor vehicle crash last week.
A crash November 9 involved the death of Marlene Mathis north of Cairo on 63 Highway. Her injuries occurred during a collision after she slowed to make a turn off the roadway, according to a crash report. The arrest of James Hartung, 32, was executed Thursday after a warrant was issued listing a charge of 2nd degree involuntary manslaughter.
Bond is set at $5,000 dollars. Future court dates have not been set.
