COLUMBIA, MO – Two men arrested at a Columbia school have not been named by authorities.
Resource officers affiliated with Hickman High School arrested two males Monday afternoon when they returned to school grounds. Officers had asked them to leave when they were found loitering on the grounds. According to Columbia Daily Tribune, the men almost immediately returned, whereupon they were cuffed and taken into custody. During a search, officers seized firearms.
The school responded to the incident by informing students and parents. The men never used the weapons, or entered the school.
