CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo – A crash in Callaway County Sunday evening, May 8, 2016, led to injuries for two residents of New Bloomfield, on County Road 371 north of CR 372.
A Highway Patrol crash report indicates, a northbound vehicle driven by Keith Verslues, 55 of Fulton, struck a southbound vehicle in the driver’s side, after reported failure to negotiate a curve.
Driver, James C. Kemp, 68, and passenger, William C. Steele, 14, received minor to moderate injuries, respectively, and were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
Verslues was later cited for aggravated driving while intoxicated, and 2nd degree assault.
He was taken to the Callaway County Jail on bond.
