LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. — A man who jumped off a bridge to avoid arrest in April of 2017 was finally arrested in Raytown Monday.

According to a release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Brian Vincent Bowman, 42,was originally wanted for a Livingston County warrant on an alleged probation violation for a resisting arrest and creating substantial risk to anyone.
KMZU News previously reported that following a traffic stop on April 29, 2017 Bowman jumped off of the Grand River Bridge on 65 Highway near Chillicothe to escape being arrested by a Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputy.
Bowman successfully evaded the officer and other investigators for months, despite reports that he had been seen in the area.
Bowman was arrested by the Raytown Police Department early Monday morning, according to the release.
It is not currently clear if Bowman is facing any additional charges in Raytown and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is seeking immediate extradition.
