LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – The latest activity in a case against an Independence man consisted of the withdrawal of his attorney.
Court records do not state whether the withdrawal of Ryan Beamgard’s attorney is mandatory or voluntary. A scheduled hearing at 11 a.m. today will review the status of the case which accuses the defendant of shooting two people during a home invasion in Odessa. Beamgard is charged with second degree murder, two counts of assault, burglary , and stealing a motor vehicle.
He is currently in custody at Lafayette County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
