LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. — An Illinois woman is facing charges after being arrested in Livingston County at roughly 6:45 p.m. Monday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kierra S. Stokes, 21, of Joliet, Illinois, was initially pulled over for allegedly driving too fast.
A probable-cause search of her vehicle reportedly found drugs and paraphernalia. Stokes is now facing one count each of felony possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of marijuana unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and exceeding the posted speed limit.
She was transported to the Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail for a 24-hour investigative hold. Formal charges are currently pending in Livingston County.
