RAY COUNTY, Mo.- According to a post on the Ray County Sheriff’s Facebook page a suspect was apprehended last night following a foot pursuit.
Report indicates between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00 p.m., Ray County deputies were involved in a foot pursuit stemming from a traffic stop. The driver of a silver Ford mustang fled on foot east from Elm Street in Excelsior Estates.
The unidentified suspect was pursued and later arrested by the deputy who initiated the stop. The suspect was arrested on preliminary drug charges and outstanding warrants.
