AUDRAIN COUNTY, Mo. — A man was arrested in Audrain County Thursday morning after he allegedly was clocked going double the speed limit.
According to an arrest report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a trooper detained Zachary D. Utterback, 26, of Pittsfield, Illinois, after he was observed by an officer going 110 miles per hour on a roadway with a speed limit of 55 mph.
The arrest happened at about 9:36 a.m., according to the report.
Utterback is now preliminarily charged for alleged felony resisting arrest by flight, speeding – 110 in a 55 mph zone, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to stop at a stop sign.
Utterback was taken to the Audrain County Jail where he is eligible to post bond.
