MEMPHIS, MO – Two volunteer firefighters from Scotland County were killed yesterday evening while attempting to respond to a fire.
The rollover crash on Highway 15 north of Memphis, MO was reported by Highway Patrol. The driver and one occupant were both ejected from the firetruck as it rolled off the roadway. Pronounced dead at the scene, was driver, Jesse Ketchum, 33, of Downing. Another Downing resident, John Chancellor, 27, was seriously injured, and another flown to University Hospital.
