RAY COUNTY, Mo.- The Missouri Highway Patrol took a Richmond man into custody following a traffic stop in Ray County.
According to the arrest report Rocky Vannattan, 29, was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. Upon further investigation, Vannattan was found to have a felony warrant out of Jackson County and three misdemeanor warrants from the Richmond Police Department.
Vannattan was transported to the Ray County Jail and is charged with possession of a controlled substance except for 35 grams or less or marijuana and tampering with physical evidence. He remains in custody pending on a 24 hour investigative hold.
