JEFFERSON CITY – A man is accused of trying to bring a gun into the Missouri Capitol. Officials say Alok Kumar Rohra tried to enter a security checkpoint at the state Capitol Tuesday with a black duffel bag. He told an officer the bag contained a gun that he wanted to show Governor Parson. Missouri Capitol Police later searched his car and found a black duffel bag with an semi-automatic pistol and ammunition. Rohra was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and taken to the Cole County Jail.
