BOONVILLE, MO – Boonville Police say charges are pending against a man arrested at a motel for assault and drug possession.
Officers say they were called to the scene Thursday night on a tip from an acquaintance of Charles Walker, who claimed he was assaulting her. Walker was arrested in one of the rooms, allegedly found to be in possession of a firearm. Another room search led to seizure of a large amount of drugs, including prescription medication.
Charges requested by police include assault, unlawful weapons use, and substance delivery.
