SEDALIA, MO – Officers in Sedalia made arrests in conjunction with an ongoing drug investigation.

Police say officers made contact Tuesday afternoon with residents at 1312 S. Lamine Ave.  Officers say they witnessed one suspect, Cameron D. Williams, climbing out of a second story window, onto the roof, then jumping to the ground in an alleged escape attempt. Williams was placed under arrest, as well as Tara Dillon. They were transported to Pettis County Jail.

A press release states the property was also in violation of a recent city ordinance against maintaining a Nuisance Property.

Charges include methamphetamine possession against both suspects. Williams is also accused of drug trafficking, illegal firearms possession, receiving stolen property, and resisting arrest. Formal charges are pending.
