WASHINGTON, MO – AP – A 13-year-old Missouri boy allegedly died of a drug overdose during a weekend sleepover.
The incident reportedly took place at a friend’s house in Washington before 9 a.m. Sunday when police arrived. A 12-year-old said he and friends had been experimenting with various drugs in the house. Police believe the boy may have been under the influence of an unknown substance while he was interviewed.
Illegal drugs were seized at the residence, including meth, and pills potentially containing heroin or fentanyl. Police arrested the 12-year-old’s mother, stepfather, and another man at the residence.
