CHILLICOTHE, Mo. — Livingston County authorities are announcing the arrest of an Illinois man after excessive speeding on Highway 36.
Sheriff Steve Cox says a deputy noticed a car traveling west at 106 mph in a 65 mph zone. A traffic stop resulted in the alleged seizure of controlled prescription medications and THC vape cartridges.
The driver, 39-year-old Eric Michael Jukiewicz of Mayfield, Illinois was arrested for the alleged speeding violation and possession of controlled substance.
Formal charges are pending.
