Lafayette, MO – The Missouri Highway Patrol went on a four hour manhunt following a pursuit.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said a Colorado man failed to pull over for a traffic violation and led multiple jurisdictions on a chase through Lafayette County and into Odessa yesterday afternoon.

The suspect crashed his SUV into a field on Johnson Dr. near Baker town Rd. Ammunition was reportedly found on the floorboard of the vehicle. Police used a helicopter with heat sensors and canine to track the suspect. At one point the suspect reportedly tried to burglarize a home before being chased off by the homeowner.

The man was eventually arrested near Land of Lakes Reservoir.

Twenty-nine-year-old Andrew W. Keith is facing charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree burglary, felony fleeing, and driving while revoked, among other charges. No injuries were reported.
