JEFFERSON CITY, MO – A Jefferson City man accused of making a terrorist threat in August was recently charged with a second count after a warrant was served Monday.
Court documents suggest, Brian Groner, 27, used an online identity which used the phrase, “your next mass shooter.” He was charged in August with making the original terror threat. Some time after posting bond in October, Groner, reportedly used the same identity to apply for a bank account online. The bank subsequently contacted law enforcement, leading to a second charge of making a terrorist threat from November 12.
No bond is listed in records. A preliminary hearing is tentatively set for December 23.
