CARROLLTON, Mo. – A Carrollton man has pled down in his alleged rape case and will serve no jail time.
Court records indicate Dyllon Browder, 21, entered a guilty plea to the lesser charge of 2nd degree Sexual Abuse, a misdemeanor. Carroll County Circuit Judge David Miller sentenced Browder to two years in prison, but suspended the sentence in favor of 2 years supervised probation.
Browder was also ordered to pay for his time incarcerated which totaled $150.
Browder was charged after a night at a friend’s house April 20, 2015, in which the victim was present. Reportedly Browder laid down beside the victim and made unwanted advances before the abuse. An interview with the victim can be heard here.
