MOBERLY, MO – A Madison resident was injured after a vehicle went into a ditch south of Moberly, early Sunday morning.
An account of the crash by Highway Patrol indicates Joseph Hancock, 21, was not wearing a seat belt during the incident, in which the vehicle went out of control on County Road 2610, and off the right side.
Troopers are recommending a charge of driving while intoxicated. Hancock was released for transport by ambulance to University Hospital with moderate injuries.
