JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A Johnson County man was arrested in the aftermath of a vehicle collision Sunday afternoon.
An incident report names Dennis Kumm, 19, of Monserrat as the driver of a vehicle that failed to yield at the intersection of 50 Highway with Route PP. Kumm traveled north, hitting a second vehicle, driven by Eau Claire, WI resident, Sharon Barnhardt. Kumm was arrested a short time later after allegedly fleeing the scene. Kumm faces a potential felony charge, along with unlawful paraphernalia use, no insurance, displaying improper plates, and careless driving.
He was released after being processed by Warrensburg police. Barnhardt was treated for minor injuries at Western MO Medical Center.
