BENTON COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri Highway Patrol says alcohol was a factor when a tractor overturned in Benton County Friday afternoon.
Details of the crash report include accusations of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked for 57-year-old Michael G. Lutjen, of Lincoln.
The crash apparently occurred when Lutjen failed to negotiate a turn from the Eagle Lodge driveway onto eastbound Route B at Route H.
The tractor went into a ditch and overturned, trapping Lutjen underneath.
Lutjen was flown by air ambulance to University Hospital in serious condition.
