Drug allegations leveled against Stanberry residents

ANDREW COUNTY, Mo. — Two Stanberry residents are facing felony allegations after they were arrested in Andrew County Friday night.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, troopers detained Nicholas B. Wohlgemuth, 39 and Derek F. Ward, 29 around 10:30 p.m.

Both are accused of felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Wohlgemuth also faces accusations of speeding, driving without valid insurance, excessive window tint, driving without a front bumper and identity theft. In addition, he was wanted on two misdemeanor warrants and a single felony warrant.

Both subjects were taken to the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department, where they were held without bond. Formal charges are currently pending.
