LATHROP, Mo – Two Lathrop residents will be formally charged with rape at an arraignment hearing Friday afternoon, June 17, in Clinton County.
Court documents name Jeremiah Hinkle, 27, and Jacob Henry, 18, as charged with rape or attempted rape, as well as endangering the welfare of a child.
A probable cause statement taken by Lathrop police officers, detailing events that occurred June 14, indicates both men admitted to being extremely intoxicated as they pickup up two juvenile females, and took them to Hinkle’s residence.
They admitted to providing alcohol and marijuana to both females.
A statement from one minor female claimed she and Hinkle also had sexual contact.
A second minor female said she was at the residence, but “nothing happened.”
Hinkle and Henry are incarcerated with bond set at $100,000 each.
