LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MO – An arrest in Livingston County was made this morning after the subjects attempted to pass a County vehicle.
Sheriff, Steve Cox initiated the traffic stop after observing suspicious activity inside the vehicle. Two vehicle occupants, Kansas residents, David LaPiere, 49, and Dawn Watkins, 33, were arrested after a search of the vehicle. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were reportedly confiscated. According to a post by the Sheriff, the individuals were traveling to a court appearance in Linn county.
LaPiere and Watkins now have Livingston County cases for the drug allegations. Bond was set at $15,000 each.
