FERRELVIEW, MO – A public official in Platte County has been arrested
for corruption charges.
Prosecutors charged Russell Wilson, 52, who was a member of the Ferrelview Board of Trustees, with stealing. Wilson allegedly bought a vehicle with public funds for substantially less than the bid which was submitted. he also had the vehicle registration signed in his name. If convicted of the charge, Wilson could be sentenced up to four years in prison. Bond is set at $15,000.
