CALIFORNIA, MO – Law enforcement in Moniteau County say they executed successful drug arrests over Memorial Day Weekend, including one involving a Macon resident.
Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a vehicle Sunday in response to a suspected moving violation west of California. The vehicle fled on 87 Highway and was later found near a wooded area off the roadway. After fleeing on foot, Travis Rowe, 42, was arrested east of town and taken into custody for a felony warrant for methamphetamine manufacturing out of Macon county.
Bond was set at $50,000. Additional charges were filed for resisting arrest.
