MONITEAU COUNTY, MO – A Latham resident posted surety bond Friday after being taken into custody for resisting arrest.
Moniteau County deputies were in pursuit last weekend of a vehicle driven by Robert Bower, 33, who authorities say, was driving at a high rate of speed through Brush Creek Road and Old Swiss Road before crashing into a ditch. Bower had been on probation for distribution of a controlled substance. According to court documents he was charged with driving while revoked, and resisting arrest by fleeing. The charges called for $15,000 dollars bond, which was posted as surety by Bower.
Initial arraignment was rescheduled for the morning of July 3.
