RAY COUNTY, MO – According to Ray County deputies, a pursuit involving two juveniles was initiated during the early morning Sunday.
Officers reportedly approached a vehicle for a minor traffic offense in Hardin. The driver then swerved into a deputy in an attempt to flee. The pursuit continued east on 10 Highway in Carroll County exceeding 100 mph. After a vehicle crash, a driver and passenger fled from the scene on foot. A four hour man-hunt did not lead to the arrest of the suspects. In a Facebook post, deputies said they have obtained positive identity, and the subjects will be sought on felonies for assault on law enforcement and eluding.
