JEFFERSON CITY, MO – A Jefferson City man is the subject of federal charges after being allegedly found in illegal possession of firearms.
Charges filed Thursday accuse Jeremy Roark, 32, of firearms possession. Roark had previously been found guilty of drug manufacture or distribution, as well as driving while intoxicated. A press release from the acting Missouri Western District Attorney says law enforcement confiscated up to 50 firearms which Roark had attempted to sell at a pawn shop.
Roark also admitted to investigators, he had been a regular methamphetamine user for two years.
