SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — A man and woman from Illinois could be facing charges in Saline County.
A report from the Missouri Highway Patrol indicates that a trooper stopped 27-year-old Jessica R. Burnett, of O’Fallon, Illinois, for a registration violation at approximately 4:20 p.m. Thursday. In addition, Burnett was allegedly driving without proper insurance.
Burnett and her passenger, John P. Scott, 58, of Belleville, Illinois, were allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine, Xanax and drug paraphernalia.
Both were processed and released pending the filing of formal charges.
