BATES COUNTY, Mo. — A traffic stop resulted in multiple preliminary charges for a Butler man Tuesday morning.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported arresting Miranda E. Chandler, 40, at about 11:11 a.m. Tuesday in Bates County after he was stopped for allegedly speeding.
Chandler is facing a felony count for possession of methamphetamine, as well as counts for possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia as well as not having insurance and exceeding the posted speed limit.
Chandler was taken to the Bates County Jail where he was eligible to post bond on the allegations. Formal charges will be sent to the Bates County prosecuting attorney for consideration.
