ENON, MO – Deputies in Moniteau County apprehended two suspects after responding to reports of suspicious activity along Route A south of Route V.
Deputies seized substances believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana, and an unidentified substance from the search of a vehicle. The suspects both had outstanding warrants and were taken into custody. Deputies arrested Briann Matheis, 23, on a warrant for possession of controlled substances, with a bond set at $25,000. Daniel C. Johnson, who had provided a false identity to authorities before his arrest, was wanted for failure to appear on non support charges. Bond was set at $9,000.
