Arrest made in Macon for drug allegations

MACON COUNTY, Mo. — A Macon resident has been arrested on drug allegations.

According to a news release from the Macon Police Department, Thomas J. Sifford, 35, was arrested after a field test confirmed methamphetamine and marijuana in his residence. The search was conducted after a report of disturbance was called at the residence. Drug paraphernalia was also found in the residence.

Sifford has been charged with felony possession of controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia misdemeanor with bond set at $10,000 cash only.

Sifford was held at the Macon County Jail on a 24 hour investigative hold.
