HENRY COUNTY, Mo. — A traffic stop in Henry County early Tuesday morning resulted in an Independence man landing behind bars.
An arrest report from the Missouri Highway Patrol indicates that 31-year-old Jason R. Stateler was stopped for a lane violation at about 12:19 a.m. Tuesday.
Stateler was also accused of not having insurance and failure to register a motor vehicle. During a search, he was allegedly found in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Stateler was taken to the Henry County Jail where he was eligible to post bond.
