RAY COUNTY, MO – The Ray County Sheriff’s office says the manhunt for a reportedly armed and dangerous individual, was concluded today after a search along the Missouri river.
Deputies were reportedly called to assist Hardin police yesterday, in a vehicle chase west of the intersection at J and 13 Highways. The suspect vehicle crashed in that location, and the driver fled into a field south of Route J. A subsequent search of approximately one-and-a-half square miles yielded no results. The suspect, who remains unidentified, was reportedly wanted in connection with multiple armed incidents in several counties, and multiple pursuits.
The Ray County Sheriff says, the suspect was finally located with the help of area residents, and apprehended in a wooded section along the Missouri River.
