BOONE COUNTY, MO – The Boone County Sheriff’s Department arrested a convicted felon after he was allegedly found in possession of firearms.
A search warrant was served at the residence of George L. Day Jr., 42, on Ballenger Lane where investigators located firearms and ammunition. According to a statement from the sheriff’s dept misdemeanor charges will also be considered after drug paraphernalia and marijuana was reportedly confiscated. Day was convicted for a felony stealing charge in 1996.
He is in custody in Boone County in lieu of $4,500 bond.
