CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. — A Mendon man has been arrested after an accident in Chariton County.
According the the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kenneth Smith, 43, was arrested at 8:15 last night by Troop B. Smith has been informally charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving while revoked, unlawfully operating a recreational off highway vehicle, careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash, and no safety device.
Smith was taken to the Chariton County Jail where he was processed and then released pending filing of formal charges.
