SALINE COUNTY, MO – A Centralia man was involved in a crash on Interstate 70 Monday afternoon that resulted in injuries for three people.
A vehicle driven by Harrison Washington, 26, of Centralia, reportedly rear-ended a second vehicle on eastbound I-70 in Saline County at the 77 mile marker, totaling both vehicles involved.
Washington and a passenger, 64-year-old Valerie P. Rudy received minor injuries in the crash. A second driver from Colorado Springs, Colorado, 65-year old Mary B. Wade, also reported minor injuries. All three were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital to be treated.
Washington was later arrested and preliminarily charged for driving while revoked, not having insurance, and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash.
