STANBERRY, MO – A Stanberry driver is in custody after a crash in Gentry County Friday afternoon.
Missouri Highway Patrol arrested Milton Pratt, 64, in Harrison County, with citations for leaving the scene of an accident that had occurred roughly 30 minutes prior to his arrest. According to an incident report, a horse and buggy were driven off the roadway at 169 Highway north of Stanberry when it was hit from behind by a motor vehicle driven by Pratt. Stanberry resident Christian Lee, 39, was reportedly ejected from the buggy after it went into a ditch, and suffered serious injuries.
Pratt was taken to Harrison County Jail for investigation. He could face charges for leaving the scene of a crash, as well as second degree assault.
