SEDALIA, Mo – A man is being accused of sexually assaulting a 15 year old girl at a Sedalia church.
Court documents stated Travis Clunie, 25, is charged with second degree rape as well as statutory rape. The teenager told authorities Clunie made sexual contact with her on two different instances inside New Hope Baptist Church.
A second woman also came forward during the course of the investigation, saying Clunie had sodomized her at Katy Park.
The pastor of the church says Clunie is not a member.
Clunie remains incarcerated on bonds of $100,000 for each charge, and will appear in court May 12th, 2016.
