LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – Officers encountered problems trying to detain a man in Lafayette County.
A traffic stop Sunday by Highway Patrol came after a warrant out of St. Charles County. Citations against a St. Louis man, Lorenzia Franklin, 26, were for assault against a law enforcement officer. Additional charges include driving while revoked, failure to maintain a lane, speeding, no registration, and no insurance.
Franklin was incarcerated at Lafayette County Jail for investigation.
