COOPER COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Indiana is facing multiple charges in Cooper County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, officers took Whiteston, Indiana resident Dencil D. Alvarez-Chirinos, 26, into custody at about 11:23 a.m. Thursday.
According to an arrest report, he is charged with one felony count each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of amphetamine salts.
He is also facing a single count each of possession of druge paraphernalia and driving while suspended.
Alavarz-Chirinos was processed at the scene and released.
A case was sent to the prosecuting attorney’s for the filing of formal charges.
