BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo. — A pair of Omaha, Nebraska residents were arrested after being pulled over in Buchanan County just before 11:15 p.m. Wednesday.
An arrest report indicates that Malik Hollingsworth, 19, and Michael Nelson, Jr., 22, were taken into custody after a regular traffic stop and probable cause search of their vehicle. KMZU has not yet obtained a probable cause statement.
They were both allegedly found to be in possession of controlled substances.
Both face two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, one misdemeanor count for alleged possession of marijuana as well as another count for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Nelson also faces charges for allegedly following too closely and failure to have two head lamps.
They were both transported to the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center for a 24-hour investigative hold.
